Having worked internationally as an Art Director in Los Angeles, Sydney, and New York, Iana is now expanding from tv/film to print. Joining the Yoga Magazine team as editor for NY Yoga + Life Magazine is a dream come true allowing her to combine her all her favorite things in life: yoga, creativity and her hometown of NYC.
I ana was born and raised in NYC. She was introduced to yoga in 2006, during a highly emotional time in her life by her mom who knew it would help with the depression and anxiety she was experiencing at the time. It was definitely not love at first practice…. but over time she noticed those one hour yoga classes once a week was the one time she could really focus and block out the mind chatter. From that point on, she was hooked.
Iana is eager to showcase the unique lifestyle for those living consciously in NYC and throughout the entire state of New York.
Jennifer is a professional photographer, now magazine editor, and yogi thriving in Portland, Oregon.
Born and raised as a military child moving from place to place ever couple of years her family finally settled down in Oregon where she completed school and entered the workforce. Once a 10year + slave to the corporate world, she was (luckily/thankfully) laid off from her management position in Quality Assurance at AT&T. Soon after, she began her career as a serial entrepreneur in 2010 and has not looked back! Jennifer has a strong background in photography, design, and management but she also brings an incredible amount of marketing know how, attention to detail, and tons of enthusiasm to the team at Yoga Magazine Productions with the launch of SP Yoga + Life Magazine.
As a professional photographer, Jennifer creates beautiful and meaningful portraits for families with a real passion also fo covering yoga festivals and working with yogis for their website and marketing photos.
Jennifer is also certified to teach a variety of styles of yoga including Power Vinyasa, Classic Hot Yoga, and Yin. As a yoga instructor, Jennifer strives to create a place where students can feel safe in their bodies, no matter their level of experience.
In her spare time, she likes to keep busy too! Involved with the Friday Night Yoga Club in her area and she successfully sold out all 8 events for the entire season. She is working to help organize the YogiNation events in Portland over the summer and will be there as the official event photographer. Jennifer’s philosophy is that when you LOVE what you do, you’ll never really work a day in your life!
But when she REALLY takes a day off she REALLY takes a day off. Jennifer loves to get outdoors with her husband and 8 year old lab. Some of their favorite activities are hiking in and around Portland, kayaking some of the local rivers, snowshoeing around Mt.Hood and getting away to the beach!
Shay has been practicing yoga and mindful meditation to support her life fully since 2001. After co-founding her own real estate management company in the Mid-West she needed to find balance in the everyday hustle and bustle of her jobs daily demands. Yoga was the only thing that helped ground her and after talking with one of her instructors they encouraged her to go through teacher training to get a deeper understanding of her practice. She was hooked and received her first RYT 200 Power Yoga teacher certification. It wasn’t too long after that that she decided to continue her education and got her Yoga Sculpt certification followed by her passion to help calm children and young teens by becoming a Registered Children’s Yoga teacher. Encouraging them that anything is possible and that they can change the world no matter where they come from. Shay most recently completed The Uprising Yoga Teacher Certification to teach at risk youth in underserved communities. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance and most recently a lululemon Ambassador.
Shay has taught yoga for Lululemon Athletica, Ivivva, Suja, The San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon, Las Vegas CVB family 5K, Poses for Paseo Kids, and the Y Be Fit Palm Desert Challenge, Common Grounds Yoga Festival and at a private retreat in Costa Rica. When not practicing or teaching yoga you will find Shay watching her daughter on the volleyball court. Spending summers with her family and friends in the mid-west or watching her favorite college football team her alma mater, The Minnesota Golden Gophers. She stays passionate about community by volunteering her time with various Women and Children organizations both locally and in 3rd world countries.
Based in Vail, Colorado, Kim Fuller is a freelance writer, editor and photojournalist, as well as a yoga teacher, legacy ambassador for Lululemon Athletica Vail, and co-founder of In Your Element, a yoga and outdoor adventure company.
